The Social Skills Workshop is a hands-on, interactive workshop with
materials and activities that allow participants to learn and practice appropriate behaviors that will help them become successful in and out of school. They will learn to embrace diversity, have positive student-to-student interactions and more. Through collaborative exercises, direct instruction, role-play and modeling, they will gain the academic support needed for success.

During each activity and exercise, participants work together to plan, implement, and evaluate their work constructively learning to value each other’s input and appreciate their different roles in the process. Experiencing success will build the student’s confidence and self-esteem, giving them the soft-skills necessary to be successful in the classroom, at home, in the community, in their academic careers and beyond. Tools, materials, and resources from National Association of School Psychologist, Channing-Bete Company, and other supporting institutions. Social Outcomes
